How we verify every member
Every founder in the room cleared the same check. Here is exactly what it is, and why.
A signed letter from your accountant, then our phone call
Anyone can edit a PDF or a screenshot. It is much harder to fake a real accountant at a real firm who answers the phone. So we ask for a signed letter from the accountant or firm that handles your books, and then we call them ourselves to confirm they wrote it.
Your letter stays private. Only the EntreHouse team sees it, and it is never shared with members. After you are verified, the only thing on your file is "verified", the date, and how you qualified.
How it works, step by step
Ask your accountant for a signed letter. On the letterhead of their firm, it states your business revenue for the last 12 months in USD and confirms you own the company.
Their full contact details go on the letter. The accountant's full name, firm name, firm address, email and phone number, plus their signature and the date. If your country licenses accountants, add their license or registration number.
If you qualify by exit or net worth instead: the letter comes from the accountant or lawyer who handled the sale, or the accountant or advisor who manages your assets, and confirms the sale amount or your liquid net worth. Same rule: signed, with full contact details.
We call to confirm. We reach your accountant through the firm's public contact details, not only the ones on the letter, and confirm they wrote it. Then we are done.
The bar
- Revenue: your business took in more than $2M USD in the last 12 months, and you own most of it.
- Exit: you sold a company and the money arrived.
- Net worth: more than $5M USD in cash, stocks, funds or crypto on an exchange. Liquid only.
Property and company shares do not count toward net worth. Liquid only. One bar is enough. The bar is the same for everyone and does not move.
With the letter, you send two photos
- Your passport photo page. Any country.
- Your company papers. Any official document with the company name and your name as owner or director: acta constitutiva, certificado de existencia, articles of incorporation, Companies House extract, or your country's equivalent.
The background check
We check that your passport is real and yours. We check public records: sanctions lists, court cases, regulator actions, news, and criminal records where the law allows. If your country needs a local ID number for a lawful check, a screening provider will ask you directly; we never store it.

What we never ask for
- Bank statements, account numbers or downloads.
- Your bank logins, or a screen share of your bank or any app.
- Tax ID or social-security numbers.
- Audited financials or tax returns.
- Anything about your customers, employees or suppliers.
Why it is this strict
Because you are about to sit at a table with founders who trust that everyone there is who they say they are. The check is the reason that trust exists. It is the same for everyone, it takes one letter and one phone call, and it never happens again.
