How we verify every member
Every founder in the room cleared the same check. Here is exactly what it is, and why.
Why a live call, not documents
A bank statement can be edited. An accountant letter can be written by anyone. A PDF can be made in ten minutes. A live screen where you log in to a government tax portal or your own bank cannot be faked.
Nothing from the call is recorded, downloaded, screenshotted or saved. After the call, the only thing we keep is "verified", the date, and how you qualified.
The five minutes, step by step
Your passport, in your hand. You hold it up to the camera. A file can be edited. A real passport on live video cannot.
Your tax portal. You open your government tax site (SAT, DIAN, IRS, HMRC or your country's) and show last year's return: the revenue you declared. It is a government system, your login, your signed number.
Your bank or payment app. You open it, set it to the last 12 months, change the range, refresh, open one transaction. This shows the money is current and the page is real.
If you qualify by exit or net worth instead: you open the account where the sale money landed, or your bank and brokerage balances. Same rule: money seen live, in your name.
One question. Roughly what percent of the company do you own? Then we are done.
The bar
- Revenue: your business took in more than $2M USD in the last 12 months, and you own most of it.
- Exit: you sold a company and the money arrived.
- Net worth: more than $5M USD in cash, stocks, funds or crypto on an exchange. Liquid only.
Property, company shares and letters from advisors do not count toward net worth, because we cannot see them live. One bar is enough. The bar is the same for everyone and does not move.
Before the call, you send two photos
- Your passport photo page. Any country.
- Your company papers. Any official document with the company name and your name as owner or director: acta constitutiva, certificado de existencia, articles of incorporation, Companies House extract, or your country's equivalent.
The background check
We check that your passport is real and yours. We check public records: sanctions lists, court cases, regulator actions, news, and criminal records where the law allows. If your country needs a local ID number for a lawful check, a screening provider will ask you directly; we never store it.

What we never ask for
- Account numbers, statements or downloads.
- Your login details. You type them; we never see them.
- Tax ID or social-security numbers.
- Accountant letters or audited financials.
- Anything about your customers, employees or suppliers.
Why it is this strict
Because you are about to sit at a table with founders who trust that everyone there is who they say they are. The check is the reason that trust exists. It is the same for everyone, it takes five minutes, and it never happens again.
